My husband and I were colleagues for five
years before we finally submit ourselves to opposite attractions. The usual
rituals were just hi and byes whenever we bumped into each other.
We exchanged
phone texts to discuss about work occasionally but there was surely no romance
involved. Everything changed after a simple text I sent to apologize for not
attending a meeting chaired by him. He replied that I was excused but I had to
buy him lunch as a penalty.
Eight years years later... we are now happily married.
